If your child is applying to a private high school this winter, chances are they will be taking the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) as administered by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB). If you’re like most parents, you want your child to have some idea of what the exam will look like before they have to take it for real.
Fortunately, ERB publishes a near full-length practice exam available for download free of charges from their website. (Click through this link to download the test from ERB). However, as helpful as the practice test from ERB is, it’s almost more stress inducing in that it doesn’t include any answer explanations. So while you’re able to see what you got wrong, it’s painful not to know why you got it wrong and what you should do differently next time.
Thesis’s publisher, General Academic, is solving that problem today by posting answer explanations on its website. This document is available to download free of charges in Adobe PDF. (Click through this link to access the file).
General Academic also publishes six additional practice tests in its comprehensive book, “Upper Level ISEE Prep Guide with 6 Full-Length Practice Tests.“
